“Great Question” (0points)

I’m talking about games where the Wii remote acts like a gun and the player shoots it at some sort of target on screen?

I have 007: Quantum of Solace. some of it’s ok, other parts are not so good. the controls are basically first person, but if you take cover, it automagically goes into 3rd person so you can look around corners. but i’ve had problems making the controls work – basically, i’m stuck at a certain point, and the controls seem to lock me out.

it go ho-hum reviews too.

the best part of the game is the abiliy to play online against others. If you liked GoldenEye on N64, you’ll love the online play. you can choose characters, settings, etc. i play that more than i’ve played the storyline, partially because the stupid thing won’t work!

I have this really neat Wii game based on an arcade game where you shoot at zombies. I forget the name, but that’s the kind of thing I’m looking for.

No. “The House of the Dead, 2 and 3”

just search “first person shooter wii” on Amazon. it’ll pop up tons of options, i’m sure.

Check out the new Call of Duty: World at War – it’s great! Multiplayer is a lot of fun too.

Resident Evil 4 Wii is awesome too. Not quite a FPS as the camera is a little behind you but it’s awesome.

i played The Force Unleashed on Wii (beat it as well). it’s not a great game, but the story was very good. it’s not 1st person, but using the remote as a lightsabre and the nunchuck as your “force hand” is fun.

on a completely different tone, has anyone else played Samba De Amigo? It’s really fun and a good workout too.

@epo, that’s true, but I’d rather get the “tried and true” ones.

@Mr_M no sweat. just a suggestion, if you like storyline games.

You didn’t say good FPS right so you could try Red Steel and Call of duty 3 :)
You can see a complete list here

The Conduit is supposed to be the most promising FPS for Wii but it’s not out yet, until then Call of Duty: World at War is probably the best one on that platform
