I have 25000$ and would like to invest it into property in Asia, which is cheap. But I am uncertain if it’s right time and will I get any return? I am talking about only 25000$ but it’s all what I have and really would like to make a profit.

Don’t invest in anything you aren’t well educated about. If you are asking here, you shouldn’t invest there. Diversify your investments. By a mutual fund. Now’s the time to do it. What you are talking about is gambling, not investing. If that’s your cup of tea, then by all means, do it. Otherwise, do something you actually have some knowledge about.

I hear there’s a soon-to-be former US Air Force base in Kyrgyzstan that should be coming on the market soon. It’s on the road to Afghanistan.

It’s really tough to say what foreign markets are going to do right now, we are not even sure what our market is going to do. Though like daloon said, if you don’t know much about it you probably shouldn’t do it. The problem with foreign markets is mostly the lack of long term credibility. I mean you could invest 25k in Thailand (or any other Asian country) today, and tomorrow someone throws a coup and then takes over all foreign properties and redistributes them to their own people. Its a pretty big risk.

Panama is stable and prospering. Banking system hyper-friendly to foreign investment.
