Depends on the definition of a “poll” question. In a way, the whole format is an abstract poll.
I just had a “poll” like question removed by fluther after it just received a good response!
I understand they want to keep the arena thoughtful.

tbh… they have no fucking idea… they do not know what the definition of a poll question is let alone what is an acceptable one… with hand held high and head to the sky

if anyone should have been removed from fluther this week it should have been me for causing unnecessary concern amongst the community…but you know… i haven’t been yet…

There are good poll questions that provoke thought, and bad poll questions (like, I dunno, “Which is better, Pepsi or Coke?”). I can see getting rid of the crappy ones, but Daloon’s (for example) always seem to be deeper and better somehow. I hope that distinction counts in the eyes of the Mods.
