Whether you text, email, phone, fax, or use other comparable methods to connect with someone, you’re sending a message and communicating so in essence, you’re talking to them in a roundabout way right? My interpretation might be a little broad on this but it’s the best explanation I can offer at this point.

Lately I’ve been referring to it as “contact” for some reason. And I didn’t realize it until now. I’ll be like “contact me later.” Just because there are so many possibilities nowadays. And when I tell myself not to call, email, etc. my exboyfriend I tell myself not to “contact” him, not to not “talk” to him…hm…

@Bluefreedom Thanks for the welcome. Just seems strange as “talking” actually invloves speech. But, with the onset of technology your explanation makes more sense.
