I agree with chyna and Bluefreedom, but I would add that it’s best if the title or subject line includes something specific. Even if it’s not self-explanatory, it can help to narrow the focus and attract people who would be interested in answering. If it’s too general, they might just pass over it.
For example, “Can someone help me with a relationship question?” is good, but it doesn’t reveal anything about the nature of the question. How about one of these?
—What can I do about an interfering relative?
—How do I tell my ex I don’t want him back?
—When do you know it’s the right time to break up?
—What if my daughter hates the man I think I’d like to marry?
Those are all relationship questions. You can give all the necessary explanation in the details section.
