open the ports on your wireless router. also, you’re router or modem (whatever you use to get online for the wireless xbox) should be compatible with the adapter. i believe the frequency should be set to 802.11a.
your modem or router might not be compatible so check that first.
these are the ports they had me open recently (i’m still having issues with terrible lag, but that’s my providers problem.)
xbox1 tcp 80
xbox2 tcp 3074
xbox3 tcp 53
xbox4 udp 80
xbox5 udp 3074
xbox6 udp 53
not sure how you would enter them on yours. i’m assuming of course that you’ve got a dynamic ip (meaning your ip address isn’t fixed) ALSO call your router/modem people to help you open the ports if you don’t know how to do it yourself. AND make sure your modem/router is configured for wireless.
OOOH! make sure there’s nothing in the way that could interfere with the signal! it makes a big difference. other electronic devices (like your telephone) will interfere with the signal and cause you to disconnect or lag out.
good luck and i hope i was able to help a little.
