@Jeruba there is no 20K room, that is a myth. People who reach 20K become something known as Soylent Green. That’s why I am in no hurry to get there.

That’s the priceless poem this special guy sent Sherry and me on our wedding day. Well that, some pretty neat virtual gifts including tin cans to trail the car, and of course that marvelous link to the 3-D animated sex position guide! I mean this guy is not just caring and considerate, but he’s darn practical (yes, I still have it bookmarked for quick reference).

Did anyone else notice that @fireside has been relatively quiet here on fluther for the last month? Well, this guy went and got married without fluther fanfare or drawing attention to himself, unlike some people we know. Yup, on 08/16 he married @cupcake, because, as he shared with us, he finally found someone who is open and honest and is perfectly accepting of his openness and honesty. Well, that, and a shared fondness of the 3-D animated sex position guide, no doubt! Congratulations you two….I reprinted that special poem to share back with you, as you shared with us…it is quite beautiful, and again, I thank you!

To one of my favorite flutherers who helped make Sherry’s and my wedding so very special; to the guy who obviously knows his music and plays a mean song title game, in addition to being a champion at word association; to the man of obvious good taste (yes, I’m talking about @cupcake here, but do Drew Barrymore, Selma Hayek and Monica Belushi ring a bell?): CONGRATULATIONS @fireside, firstly on your marriage and secondly, on reaching the 10K lurve milestone marking your entry into the 10K Lurve Lounge. Although I have been busy lately with my new family and an added work load, you all hold a special place in my heart. I have had so many fascinating conversations over the past year and you have each touched my heart in different ways, taught me much and forced me to expand my thinking at times.

Fluther is really a great place where people of different backgrounds and hopes and goals and experience can come together and share their opinions – something I wish could be brought to the world more often.

@Cupcake….When I noticed that @sccrowell seemed to be typing for an extended period, I went to join her….she was in bed and half asleep. I told her I had a special Great Answer in mind for her and I thought she stopped the post. However, her iphone kept chirping for some reason. I’m not sure why…I was rather preoccupied and the phone and charger cord were unmercifully tangled in sheets and blankets and possible body parts. If you, or any of our other fluther friends, happened to get a rather cryptic, or even explicit blow-by-blow PM or post to one of your questions, I would appreciate it if we just kind of keep that between us….well, not “you” between @sccrowell and me, but….well, you know what I mean (was it as good for you as…...oh, never mind).
