Check your local library. I’m in Indiana and all the libraries around here have audio books at each branch and if you have a library card you can also sign into netlibrary.com where they have hundreds of audio books available for download of fairly recent books. If you have an mp3 player that is supported for protected wma you can move them to the mp3 player.
Project Gutenberg which is a site that posts out of print, out of copyright books also has audio book downloads. Librivox is along the same lines and volunteers posts their readings of out of print, out of copyright books. I recommend “How to Live on 24 Hours a Day”.
