I forget the regimen I followed but I didn’t like it much. It’s very, um, high intensity. When I work out I don’t feel like I need to push myself to the limits of my tolerance in order to get sufficient training benefits. But it’s supposedly a great way to burn fat.

@TheIncomparableBenziniBrothers Yes it is. I have lost 18 kilos in 4 months but I’ve hit a wall with my training/diet, and I am stepping it up. I want to lose 5 kilos more until I turn it around and go into building muscles.

I am thinking jump ropes 2:1. 20 mins. + 30 mins walking.

HIIT is a great way to break out of a plateau, just be sure not to overdo it. 15–20 minutes is the max.

When you’re just starting out, I’d advise you to do something like 2 minutes of 90% intensity for every 1 minute of 60% intensity (there is no resting in HIIT). Also, if you’re going to walk 30 minutes for exercise, you might want to do it at a different time than when you’re doing HIIT. It takes a lot out of you and you need to replenish your energy before doing more cardio.
