On fluther, if a user posts an answer/comment, and it if it gets deleted - sometimes it is necessary - it shows that something was deleted, right?

I think so, and it is an honorable way to do business. I just want to verify before I answer “yes”. Some websites deny that there was a posting.

When an answer gets removed it says Removed by Fluther Moderators in its place.

Yes—if a post gets deleted, the quip space is still there, but instead of reading the post it says something like ”removed by Fluther moderators”. You can still see who wrote the post, just not what they said.

@EmpressPixie @toomuchcoffee911 Thanks. That makes sense, otherwise it is lying.

And when I get to the modded answer, I’m always indefinitely curious as to what it said.

@CyanoticWasp thanks but is that what the user does to delete his/her question? I was referring to a deletion by the (moderator?)
