Rules for Revolutionaries by Guy Kawasaki, or any other book by him, I’m sure.

Another great Guy Kawasaki book is “The Art of the Start”. The Guy Kawasaki books are great from a marketing / evangelist perspective. If you want hardcore strategy, then “The Innovator’s Dilemma” by Clayton Christensen is a good place to start. If you want some classic, rigorous thinking about innovation and entrepreneurship in general, then Peter Drucker’s “Innovation & Entrepreneurship” is a great read. If you want some interesting bite-sized stories, then you may enjoy “Founders at Work”.

Atlas Shrugged will tell you a lot about what you will be up against if and when you press forward with your “innovation”.

@OnaBoat Guy Kawasaki’s book is great, he also wrote a sequel that is pretty good called “Reality Check”

Other books that I find are constant talking points are “Good to Great” by Jim Collins and “Tipping Point” by Malcolm Gladwell. Both of these books are revered in the tech/online/marketing industries as books one has to read.

I would not recommend Tipping Point, in my opinon it was a bunch of dumbed down pseudoscientific hogwash. Atlas Shrugged was an eye opener, although perhaps not specifically about technological entrepreneurship.

@nisse I wasn’t too impressed with “Tipping Point” either, but you can’t deny the networking value in reading it as it has become such an industry stand by right?
