47th Street between 5th Avenue and Broadway. Check to see who is making the best offer (usually 96–97% of the day’s spot price.)

Edit: It’s been a while and the gold market has changed. I actually don’t know if they are paying that high still.

I used the service of Fabrikant Fine Diamonds Inc (http://www.fabon5th.com/ ) at 5th Avenue in New York. They offered me better price than other jewelers in that area. You can also try them.
