[NSFW] Are you celebrating Steak and BJ day tomorrow?

“Great Question” (4points)

One month after Valentine’s day is Steak and BJ day—the Valentines day for men. Here’s a link to the official Steak and BJ site. The premise is that men don’t want flowers, candy or teddybears, they want a nice juicy steak and a BJ from the woman (or man I guess) they love. Are you celebrating tomorrow?

Dude. I. Am. So. There.

pussinboots's avatar

@mazingerz88 so you like a good steak then ?

Berserker's avatar

Damnit, good steak and blowjobs shouldn’t have some day to restrict them!

filmfann's avatar

I am hoping for a juicy T bone, and maybe a steak!

AnonymousWoman's avatar

Unfortunately, likely not. =( I wish! I’m single, though. Also, the one guy I would love to do this for and I will likely not see each other tomorrow. ^_^

pussinboots's avatar

I have actually perfected cooking a steak and giving myself a BJ,in fact what a great idea. Back in five.

saint's avatar

Probably.

Aethelflaed's avatar

I thought Valentine’s Day was for both partners the first time around? You both buy each other gifts, go out to dinner, and then have sexytimes both people enjoy?

SavoirFaire's avatar

Yeah, so… in my house this is called “Tuesday.”

I’m always sad to hear this gets relegated to a holiday. Also, my wife and I spend Valentine’s Day celebrating us, not her.

I remember 2 years ago (when I last logged on here! :O) I learned about that holiday! Hah! It’s hilarious the way they advertise it. But hey. He tries hard on Valentine’s Day doesn’t he?! Let’s get some appreciation for the men here!! lol :D Don’t tell him I said that….his birthday already falls on St. Patty’s Day 3 days later :)

gorillapaws's avatar

@SavoirFaire what’s the secret? Besides a generous partner?

pussinboots's avatar

Of course i was never one for the Bluberry Jam for desert.

AnonymousWoman's avatar

@SavoirFaire I don’t think people need a holiday. It’s a fun idea. =)

FutureMemory's avatar

What about us vegetarians?

Chongalicious's avatar

@FutureMemory Veggie Burger instead of steak! Although I’m not sure what you would replace the “meat” with for the BJ part :P

AnonymousWoman's avatar

@FutureMemory Apparently vegetarians taste better, so maybe you’ll get extra BJs!

pussinboots's avatar

@FutureMemory too much cheese i heard.( on your burger )

FutureMemory's avatar

@Chongalicious Haha :) I love veggie burgers.

@AnonymousGirl I like your positive attitude!

@pussinboots I eat very little cheese. On the spectrum, I’m closer to vegan than vegetarian.

marinelife's avatar

Didn’t know about it.

blueiiznh's avatar

Is this another one of those made up Hallmark Holidays?
I’ll take mine raw.

wundayatta's avatar

People keep trying to sell this idea on fluther, but I’m not buying it. I’m telling you, we do not need one more day of official disappointment in the Wundayatta calendar. Let’s say you give up mother’s day, and I’ll give up my birthday.

Oh, ok. That’s hardly fair. You already don’t do anything for my birthday. But think! Now you won’t have to be guilty about it? But I’m a generous guy. I’ll throw in father’s day, too. What a deal! And you get to keep Valentine’s day, your birthday, and our anniversary. What do you say?

What? You want a backrub every night, too? You drive a hard bargain, you do!

Chongalicious's avatar

@wundayatta Tell me I don’t have to get you anything for Christmas and we’ll talk. lol

I don’t agree with holidays revolving around women… personally I love spoiling my boyfriend now that can afford to. He hates when I spoil him! He says it makes him feel bad, but whatever that lasts for 5 minutes until he realizes how much he loves his gifts and experiences I give him! :D

FutureMemory's avatar

It must suck to be so unhappy in your marriage.

Aethelflaed's avatar

So, when is Pad Thai and Pussy-Eating Day? (I assume other women and pussy-people love them some Pad Thai as well).

redfeather's avatar

^^^make that Pad Thai chicken katsu and I’m in.

FutureMemory's avatar

@Aethelflaed That sounds like a holiday I’d look forward to celebrating!

gorillapaws's avatar

@Aethelflaed Feb. 14th. It has other names too.

DominicX's avatar

Nah. I’d rather celebrate Pi Day :)

(by eating pie)

redfeather's avatar

mmmmmpie

Aethelflaed's avatar

@gorillapaws So… if on V-Day, women got flowers and oral sex, and men got oral sex, and presumably some steak from that fancy dinner in V-Day celebrations, why is there this extra day in which only men get to get presents and oral sex?

@DominicX Ladypie? (J/k, I know you’re not so much with the ladies…)

gorillapaws's avatar

@Aethelflaed I have never received oral sex on Valentines day (I’ve definitely given it though). Also, I’m the one paying for the fancy dinner, buying the gifts etc. I love doing it, I love making my significant other feel special, like she is the most special girl in the universe, but it’s hardly an equitable holiday for the sexes. Steak and BJ day are all about partners making the man feel special like he does for them on V-tines day.

wundayatta's avatar

@FutureMemory Don’t worry. That’s just a schtick from the old curmudgeon. Don’t take it seriously.

Aethelflaed's avatar

@gorillapaws It must suck to have Valentine’s Day be such an inequitable holiday. Have you considered talking to your partner about this? Or, just finding a partner who enjoys having sex with you enough that you don’t need a holiday to get your sexual needs met?

redfeather's avatar

BJ’s on the regularrrr, what what

Blackberry's avatar

No, as I’m not a sexist prick that believes someone owes me oral sex and food due to a made up day on a calendar.

AstroChuck's avatar

No. As usual I’ll be celebrating Peanut Butter Sandwich and Masturbation Day.

Neizvestnaya's avatar

I always though those fell each Friday, hmnn.

linguaphile's avatar

The BJ girl on the site is a doll with a 5 year old’s hairstyle? Nice.

Ponderer983's avatar

WTF?!?!? In the words on Chris Rock – “Lick ya own balls!”

SavoirFaire's avatar

@gorillapaws I don’t know if there’s a secret. I suppose being a generous partner helps, as well as having one. We’re pretty balanced in the giving and receiving departments. We subscribe to Dan Savage’s GGG rule. That is, we strive to be good in bed, giving equal time and pleasure, and game for anything (within reason). I think that unless couples are willing to live their sex lives in quiet desperation—and I don’t know why they should be willing to live like that—they should be open with each other and experimental. It reduces performance anxiety (which women can feel, too!) and can make sex feel like less of a task for the less amorous partner. Whatever people think about public openness about sex, not being privately open with your partner is a crime against marriage.

nikipedia's avatar

Steaks in our house = never
BJs in our house = all the goddamn time

nikipedia's avatar

Well, shit, now you people have me thinking. Should I make an exception on the steak thing?

SavoirFaire's avatar

@nikipedia Well, it depends. Is your partner a vegetarian because you are, or are you both committed to vegetarianism? My wife has gone through several vegetarian phases throughout the course of our relationship, and she has never asked that I become a vegetarian with her. During those periods, she has even been willing to prepare meat for me. I have neither expected nor asked for this, especially since I’m already a flexitarian and would be perfectly happy eating meat only as part of meals we weren’t eating together, but she insists that her personal choice is hers alone. She doesn’t want to impose it upon me just because she does most of the cooking (while I do most of the cleaning).

Aethelflaed's avatar

@SavoirFaire Your wife sounds awesome.

augustlan's avatar

I’m sure my husband has no idea about this day… but I can’t cook a steak to save my life! Guess it’s extra BJs for him. ;)

ragingloli's avatar

I like steak and giving BJ

ucme's avatar

Fortunately i’m a vagitarian, it’s only fair to make any celebration a shared experience.

ragingloli's avatar

Would you like to see my [NSFW] big black cock?

FutureMemory's avatar

Wow, black ones really are bigger.

wundayatta's avatar

I heard on the radio this weekend that most vegetarians eat meat. I don’t think they meant it in a double entendre kind of way.

sinscriven's avatar

Knowing my S/O and her concern about my health, it’ll be Chicken salad and BJ day.

And she’ll enjoy the BJ more than i’ll enjoy the salad. D:

SavoirFaire's avatar

@Aethelflaed My wife is awesome. I consider myself very lucky!

FutureMemory's avatar

So…who celebrated this?

LuckyGuy's avatar

On my calendar 3/14 is Pi Day. I’m such a nerd.
