it is not, because the god claim requires the existence of the supernatural, the existence of deities and the interaction of these deities with the natural world. None of these has ever been supported by any evidence, nor has any of it ever been demonstrated to be necessary.
On the contrary, claims made by religionists, like the structure of the solar system (geocentrism), the origin of the human species (being made from dust/clay/mud/ribs), the origin of the universe(being spoken into existence fully formed ex nihilo, in the wrong order), the shape of the earth(flat, covered by a solid sky dome with ports in it), the origin of lightning(zeus), or the cause of disease(demons), all of them have been completely annihilated by scientific discoveries.
In the entirety of history, religious claims have always been replaced by demonstrated natural explanations. Natural explanations have never, not a single time, been replaced by a demonstrated supernatural explanation. Like two boxers that have been fighting each other for thousands of years, and always did boxer 1 defeat boxer 2. Who do you bet on? You bet on boxer 2.
