I never wanted to be one of the actual characters. I wanted, and still want, to be a new character inserted into the respective series and help resolve problems using my relative omniscience.
@chyna, thank you—you reminded me that when I was a young kid I wanted so badly to live in one of those little burrows like Bugs Bunny had, with the little beds, and pictures on the wall, etc. They always looked so cozy and safe.
I never really wanted to be an established character. There are a few characters I thought (and think) I could replace quite easily, improving the situation immensely.
My favorite Saturday morning cartoon as a kid was Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers, and I totally wanted to be Gadget. She was the pilot, inventor, and mechanic. Sort of like Kaylee from Firefly, if she were a mouse.
There was this dude in The Arabian Knights, he could change into any creature by clapping his hands & yelling whatever animal took his fancy, ”size of a buffalo!!”
That would be quite cool.
I never wanted to be Daphne, just wanted to do her.
Unlike Fred the pussy who constantly chickened out even though she practically laid it on a plate for the prat.
Oh yeah. Did you play Sandy @anniereborn? When my little sisters and I were kids we’d play house. Lexy would always be the dog. We’d tie her up outside of the “house,” what ever it was.
