Sounds like some sort of scam.

If the house isn’t a tear-down, it’s interior will need to be hosed-down with a strong bleach solution. Ugh…all the things that have gone on within those walls, decade after decade.

He wants his money and his house… imagine that? From a man who went though life having his cake and eating it, too.

I’ll offer $1M cash. There’s just too much lawn to mow. I have 5 acres now and this place is 6 acres so it is not much of a step up.

And my air is a lot cleaner.

$200,000,000 is a lot to pay to be stuck with a decrepit roommate.

If he accepts the $1 M cash I’ll let him stay. No problem.

I think the see-mint pond is covering most of the 6 acres, @LuckyGuy, but you might want to negotiate with the old guy on reto-fitting for handicap accessibility.
That crap can get expensive.

@ibstubro Hey Hef! How’s this for a deal? You can stay but you or any of your nubile delegates is responsible for cutting the grass and skimming the pool. Deal?
$1M. Cash! I will pay all the capital gains tax due on the sale. (0).

I was in Bev. Hills about 5 months ago. The traffic was awful. The sky was filthy. I visited the GoodWill and bought 2, unused, shirts in technical fabric for about $1.50 for both. That’s the kind of souvenir I like.

That’s my souvenir routine, @LuckyGuy!

Only I like to buy new, local event T’s. It started in Hawaii, where everything was so high. I was with a native so we went to the Salvation Army. Score! Young Lawyers run, Gourmet Cookoff, etc. Charity T-shirts that had never been worn for $1 each. I still wear them occasionally, 12–14 years later. lol
I seldom vacation, but when I do, it’s charity T-shirt souvenirs for me!
