“Great Question” (1points)

I saw recently on one or another news provider that some girl has designed a classroom protection in the case of active shooter. I can’t find anything on it now.
I believe she was in the twelve to fourteen age range.

I saw a 17 year old boy that had. It’s called Justinkase. I’m on my phone and can’t link it right now.

That is a different one. I am interested in a link to any, really. I love how these children have turned from fear to action.

Or you know. Figure out why we are the only country concerned about this shit.

Stay on topic. This is about student innovation only.
That Justincase appears to be a simple floor lock, something in use worldwide for centuries.
If not, maybe there is a better link?

Here is a different link to the Justinkase you might like.
This one is a girl that invented bullet proof walls

Okay, everybody picture one of those peanuts cartoons when Charlie Brown shouts, and Snoopy tumbles backwards.
THAT’S IT!!!
That is the girl I had in mind.

I think both of those inventions are valuable.
The boy invented something cost effective, and it works, but only with doors which open in.
I wonder how quickly a panicky teacher could reach it, and have it in place.
The wall would cost more, but it does allow for a retreat in any room. Even a gymnasium could use one.
Does anyone know of others?
I think I will urge the schools in my area to consider these potential safeguards.

They both chose clever names too.
