Would you believe that I saw Albert Einstein & Rob Reiner in a health food store, about 20 years ago?

I saw them together at a place called Healthy Discounts, sometime in the late 90’s.

If I’m not mistaken, they were on their way to the cash register.

It would be hard to think of anyone more cognizant of the irony in his name than Brooks. I love the roles he plays and could watch Broadcast News, Defending Your Life or The Scout all day long. No one can top Brooks when it comes to portraying the guy with talent destined to receive nothing but the back of life’s hand. His characters always are aware of this destiny, and the ensuing simmering frustration and bitterness are too funny to describe. If you haven’t seen Defending Your Life, dial it up. I laugh myself silly just thinking about Brooks and that film’s premise.

Sure, why not. My mom’s cousin worked with or studied under Einstein, I don’t remember exactly. I think it was a second cousin, she didn’t know him well.
