Some of you may never have seen Jimmy Fallon write his thank you notes, so I provided a link.
On the same premise, can you share thank you notes of your own?
I have given up on specifying no Trump mentions, because there are so many jellies who simply cannot follow instructions.
However, I would urge everyone to be somewhat more creative than that.

(I would submit that if we must not say things meant to offend persons of color, size, religion, how is it that when someone has specifically stated they are uncomfortable with a particular topic or attitude, it is just fine to ignore that request?)

In my younger days, I would write short thank-you poems, maybe a verse or two, instead of notes. They were not great literature (definitely not!) but they showed the recipient that I put some thought into it.

Alas, no one writes letters any more.

@Patty_Melt There is no such thing as thank-you note in my country, so I’m really surprised when you said @KNOWITALL followed the format. I just wrote what I think a note looks like :)

Mimi, just take a look at the link.
Normally thankyou notes are given to show appreciation; for gifts, or being invited to a special event, or other occasions when a special kindness was extended.
The sender might use a greeting card, or nice stationary paper to write their thankyou.
In the link, Jimmy is doing them as a joke, irony. For instance,

Thank you kittens, for being so cute you can make us fall in love with something that grows it’s own razor sharp weapons and will grow up to hate us.

A real thankyou note would say something like
Dear Aunt Mitzy,
Thankyou for the lovely fog fountain. I find it a nice calming gift. I have it on every evening while I have tea, and unwind. I hope sometimes you can join me.
Sincerely, your niece, Patty Melt.

He did a show over here a few years back where he mentored a bunch of kids, similar to school of rock & he came across great.

Was so inspiring, knew what he was doing & above all…so funny!

When Simmons’ came to America, his name was changed from Chaim Witz to Gene Klein. He later decided to use “Gene Simmons” for professional purposes. He is the son of Hungarian Jewish parents, Flóra “Florence” (Klein or Kovács) and Feri Yechiel Witz.
