Is Jeopardy more fun to watch if the answers are easier or more difficult?

“Great Question” (2points)

If you’re watching Jeopardy, and your getting almost every response correct, is that more entertaining?

What is your could not get even one correct response, is that more fun?

I’d prefer to watch with 75% of the responses are unknown, or that I have to be reminded by the host.

I like 50%. I don’t watch it regularly, but when my mom visits I watch with her every night.

I thinj it’s more fun to know the answers. My husband and I compete often.

I like it just the way it is.

About half/half is good.

I like it about half. Sometimes I might know the answer and be forming it in my head when the contestant buzzes in. Other times I don’t have a clue yet someone there knoews it in an instant.
I have a lot of respect for every person on that show. Even if contestants get a horrible score they are still smarter, faster, and more quick thinking than a vast majority of the population.

More difficult because when I do answer one correctly, I feel like I’ve really accomplished something.

I bring this up because in the Jennings hosting era, the responses are much easier it seems. More current.

I’m finding many of the pop culture questions are too current for me and I don’t know them. I guess I enjoy a mixture of knowing and not knowing; I wouldn’t want 100% of either.

I think it’s fun when the first half is relatively easier but the second half is more difficult. I always feel disappointed when the Final Jeopardy question is too easy

@KNOWITALL wait, knowing the answers doesn’t make the answers easy. You might be a super encyclopedic minded savant. There would be a certain satisfaction to that, knowing no matter how difficult they made the game you’d still crush it.

That’s different from them giving answers that are just common knowledge.

If a Jeopardy show was super difficult, and I knew all the questions, that’s satisfying!

I like the show because it’s intellectually challenging Clearly, I prefer when the questions are difficult.
