Always wore a mask around others for over a year, I even wore a mask outside. I still do in dense crowds.
I was almost never indoors with other people. When I was indoors I was over 10 feet distanced in most cases. That has changed in recent months.
At one point I went back to doing zumba indoors, but I stopped mid December assuming Christmas would be an explosion of cases.
There were maybe 10 instances during the first year that I took a risk, but it was never a very high risks, and just luck no one coughed on me with covid. By risk I mean being in a store where others weren’t masked or buying my car (the car salesperson did have a mask on). Going to Disney Springs (everyone had a mask on, but it was crowded).
I almost never ate nor eat in restaurants.
I think avoiding close contact, and also when everyone I was around was wearing masks, is likely why I never caught covid. I think those things more than being vaccinated.
