I have a Jackal on my left forearm. I got it back in 1966 while in the Navy and drunk. At the time I thought it was clever but being 20 and drunk, that was a pretty low bar. I seldom even remember it’s there but at times in my life I wished it wasn’t.

Got a sun tattoo on my left arm. I was impressed when the artist drew the circle by hand. He told me to return after a week so he can work on it some more. Didn’t get the chance. That was 21 years ago around Hollywood Blvd.

I have a small heart on my left hand. I got it when I was 18. It was a group thing amongst several friends I’m no longer friends with. I’d like to have it fixed and maybe be an owl.

I also have a dolphin on my right ankle. I was 19 at the time and living on the central California coast.

No tats, but I think that’s only because I realized it was more unique in my generation to not get one. It just seemed to hipster for me. Most tattoos I saw on young people looked like regret, anyway.

I went with piercings instead, and to clarify @ragingloli ‘s misunderstanding, these mutilations are not purely decorative, they are also sexually stimulating.
