I have a friend who has a trampoline that we will bounce on and have fun. He went on a vacation June 19th and came back a few days ago. Yesterday we went to jump on the trampoline and it felt harder then when we where on it back in June. Do you know why and how can we fix it?

Was there a temperature change?
Does it soften when you bounce for a while?

Last time you jumped on a tramp I’m betting you were younger and lighter.

To add to @LuckyGuy, what is the material?

I think the heat tightened it up.

I really have no stake in this, but wouldn’t heat loosen it, if anything?

I agree probably a temperature change. There are a few different types of trampoline fabric and some react or absorb more heat than others. Color matters too, but usually trampolines have black fabric from what I have seen, while when used in other applications it can be another color.

Trampolines can be tightened and loosened. Any chance someone messed with it?

It’s possible you just need to get used to it again and you just think it felt it was more flexible because you were used to the hardness of it.

It’s like my home. I go up and down the stairs every day a few times a day without a thought. Some days I can do 30 flights without getting sore and not realizing I went up and down that much. If it wasn’t for my smartwatch, I wouldn’t realize I go up and down that much. Then when I go away for a few days and come back, the stairs seem higher than I remember and just climbing 2 flights feels so hard. I don’t get out of breath but my joints feel exhausted.
