Much more likely is that the first guy killed himself because he knew something that was going to land him in prison, and he didn’t want to deal with it.
The second guy – across the country – could very easily be an illness, as described.
My guess is that a handful of the thousands of Boeing employees die every week of various causes, and that wishing for a conspiracy doesn’t make it so.
