Well, the Bible names came first.. those were names popular in those times (though, as has been pointed out, were likely something different in the original language, “John” is the English translation). The reason Jesus is a Hispanic name is because it’s a Catholic country and they chose the name out of the Bible. Incidentally, in earlier times, it was very popular to name children from the Bible in lots of countries. Ruth, John, Noah, Abraham, etc. etc. Thankfully for kids these days, the odder names have been mostly phased out (Ezekiel).
I knew a couple of kids when I was young who were named Judah and Timon.
