True, but only so long as we recognize that the three categories are not necessarily exclusive. Some diseases are treatable and curable, some are treatable and preventable, some are curable and preventable, and some are treatable, curable, and preventable.

Someone said “It (whatever it is) can’t be called a disease because it can be treated.” What could it be they could be talking about, whether it makes sense or not.
