@KRD , What’s so funny about year of the rat? That’s my year.
I read somewhere that the Chinese have a preference for having their children born in the year of the dragon, which they regard as special.
@ragingloli , There is no year of the cat, but there is a year of the tiger.
I just feel like a cat. Wanting to laze around all day.
Anyway, telling you my actual chinese zodiac would be a personal identifier, and I am not giving anyone that.
Evidently I’m a Year of the Ox. Does that mean something? Is it like western astrology where a symbol supposedly implies vague and nonspecific character traits that everyone actually has but makes a person think “Oh, that’s me to a T!”?
@Entropy@KRD We born on the year of the Ox are said to be hardworking and honest. Low key and humble, logical thinkers and great leaders.
We can be arrogant and hold others to the high expectations we hold ourselves to. We are most compatible with Rat, Snake and Rooster.
Colors are blue, yellow, green.
Numbers 1 and 4.
Health concerns are stroke, from being workaholics.
Monkey. My dad used to call me a monkey when I was little so it made sense to me when I first learned I was a Monkey according to the Chinese zodiac. When I was young some of the Chinese restaurants had the different birth years and animals on the paper placemats.
If I remember correctly Monkey is an earth sign, I am an earth sign according to my horoscope also. Monkeys are clever and adaptable, and I think their lucky number is nine, which coincidentally is my husband’s lucky number.
2005 February 9, 2005 – January 28, 2006 Wood Rooster
People born in a year of the Rooster are very observant. Hardworking, resourceful, courageous, and talented, Roosters are very confident in themselves.
Active, amusing, and popular within a crowd. Roosters are talkative, outspoken, frank, open, honest, and loyal individuals. They like to be the center of attention and always appear attractive and beautiful. yep that’s me :)
I was born in the year of the Tiger; however due to the fact that I was born early in the year, I’m considered an Earth OX. I think I remember that I missed being a Tiger by 1 week.
