Since I retired two years ago, I no longer have a definite daily routine. Every day is different. Some days I stay home, some days I go out. On the days I go out, sometimes I have an appointment and I have to hurry in the morning (it’s a struggle to be out by noon) and some days I have no set appointments and so I can go out when I’m ready, which may not be until 1.
What almost always happens every day is I’m up in the early morning hours, like 3 or 4, and then on the computer for a few hours, and then back to bed for hopefully one or two more hours. In the morning, when I wake up (for good), I drink a lot of coffee. Those are the things that are every day – up early, back to bed, hopefully, and then drinking coffee. While I’m having the coffee, I’m on the computer – social media, looking at email and newpspapers online. I may not eat breakfast until 11 or 12. and breakfast is usually something simple like an English muffin or some frozen Eggo waffles or yogurt with added walnuts and berries.
