Working from home, so less commuting, less gas being used in cars, less pollution, more time to sleep, more time to be with family. Some people moved to places they really wanted to live because they could work from home.

It seems like some low wage jobs got a pay hike, but I’m not sure if it’s true, and I’m not sure if it will stick long term.
I see around me some people lost weight and focused on health and some people gained weight during this ordeal. So, some people had a positive health benefit.
A lot of people are more in touch with friends and family who live far away. Zoom calls and phone calls seemed to be happening much more during the first year of COVID19.
More people understand how viruses work and spread a little better. That will probably prevent some other illnesses from spreading too.
@filmfann Wow, more Republicans dead? I wonder if that’s true, and especially I wonder if it’s true that more voting Republicans are dead in purple states? I’m in Florida as you know, and our presidential elections are extremely close, every vote counts. A lot of people died here. Congressional seats are really important too, I wonder if some states lost seats and more specifically congressional and electoral seats. Florida actually gained an electoral vote this last census. Next census there might be a really big shift in voting power.
