@HP It’s just that one person’s “lesser evil” is another’s “greater evil”. Then when one choice is made, through some election or whatever, people self-servingly speculate about counterfactuals, either believing they’ve picked the better or worse choice depending on whether it’s their side or not.
I contend that there’s probably very little material difference whether one personality or another gets elected, because there’s a general all-encompassing ideology that guides electoral politics. It’s basically always “evil”. But I’m just an outside observer who detests liberal democracy and the sort of pro-capitalist ideological hegemony that permeates mainstream electoral politics.
Biden is no different to Trump, Bush, Obama, or Reagan to me. They’re just different flavours of shit, who tailor their rhetorical and aesthetic appeals to their demographic support, who have been indoctrinated to internalise the values of billionaire sociopaths, and delude themselves into thinking “their side” are the good guys.
